Hartley Base Expander (No Thread Cutter)

Use templates and rulers safely by expanding the throat of your Freedom, Lucey, Lenni, Liberty, Discovery (also works on Ultimate I machines without a thread cutter)

The Hartley Base Expander for machines with NO thread cutter allows you to use longarm templates and guiding rulers safely and easily. Simply slip the expander over the throat of your machine for additional support. The base measures 11 - 3/4 " x 11 - 3/4" to give you extra room for templates and rulers. The base can easily be removed or can be left on the machine while doing other quilting. One 12-inch guide ruler with handle is included to get you started. NOTE: A 1/4-inch tall "template foot" is highly recommended if using guiding rulers.
